Educare Preparatory School was established and registered with the Mpumalanga Department of Education, EMIS No. 800031179 in 2002 with 9 learners in Grade R. In 2003, the Grade 1 class of thirty learners was introduced. In each subsequent year, a new Grade was introduced.

SPORTS
Ample space is available for the development of sports grounds and facilities. We started to implement sport at Educare in 2017. As new teams we did quite well looking at all the challenges we have. We have soccer, netball and Volleyball teams. Lawn has been planted but an irrigation system needs to be installed. Trees have been planted.

Who is Educare Prep?
The school caters for learners from Grade R to Grade 7. The class sizes are restricted to 30 learners per class. The school caters for all the learning areas prescribed by the RNCS. Regular tests are administered and parental meetings are arranged to inspect learner performance. Learners have free access to contact parents in the case of an emergency. The school provides for all the stationery requirements of learners.
